1. Preparing the Natural Hair
- Brush the hair to ensure it is in the desired spot.
- Secure the hair in a ponytail with a hair tie.
- Create a bun with the hair, securing it with an additional hair tie.
2. Understanding the Ponytail Construction
- The hairpiece consists of two elastics positioned at the top and bottom.
- It also features two combs on the sides and a drawstring at the bottom.
- The use of zip ties to secure the ponytail is optional.
- Insert one zip tie under the net at the top of the ponytail, and place the second zip tie under the net at the bottom.
3. Installing the Piece
- Use the top elastic to secure the ponytail around the bun, then flip the hair back.
- Insert the top zip tie under the base of the ponytail and pull it through.
- Repeat the process for the second zip tie, if needed.
- Insert the side combs at the base of the ponytail, one on the right and one on the left.
- Pull the drawstring to tighten it.
- Secure both zip ties and pull them tight.
- Carefully cut the excess ends of the zip ties as close to the head as possible.
- Secure the drawstring around the ponytail using a bobby pin and add the bow to finish.
